Specialising in Antique lighting, ornaments, sculptures and clocks, Cosmo Electroplaters provide a number of different services including specialist antique finishing and plating. We can match most sample colours and bring decades of experience in this field. We pride ourselves in providing a customer service which is second to none. We can also provide for clients looking for a more modern finish like Chrome or Nickel plating.
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
Being in our industry, we come across rare and unusual items regularly and bring a wealth of knowledge in the best way to restore antique metalwork. No job is too big or small and we have carried out work on items showcased in prestige locations worldwide
SILVER PLATING & BRONZING
Our silver plating is second to none. We silver plate for 3 hours so that the item can be polished for years to come without instant wear. We also do antique silver finishes like amora silver.
We can do various bronze finishes which include patinated bronze and stained bronze which can be both laquered or un-laquered
GOLD PLATING
Our gilding is renowned in the industry. We do not skimp on gold and therefore provide fantastic gold plated finishes. In comparison the price rise of gold has meant a fall in quality by some companies. But not at Cosmo.
We do things as they should be done and can sample match most items.
We also do impressive gold and antique laquered finishes as an alternative.
COPPERÂ & BRASS PLATING
Our copper and brass plating is used as either a base coat or a final finish to provide that alternative look.
For years I've had mediocre experiences getting things electroplated for my work. I've used theses guys very many times now and the results are always excellent, appropriate to the age and character of the item and if I want I can have a range of finishes, textures and colours. I don't need to look anywhere else now.
